GEORGE P. MCCUEN

President

Our firm was founded by George P. McCuen, a Napa native who also serves as our President. George began his career with IDS Financial Services in 1987. In 1990 he completed the certification process to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and in 1992 became a Registered Investment Advisor. By 1994 George was the president of a boutique money management and financial planning firm in Napa. He was asked to serve on TD Ameritrade’s Institutional Services Advisory Panel from 2000 – 2002 and was asked back to the panel in 2011.  Additinally George serves on TD Ameritrade's President's Council and is a member of National Independent Financial Advisory Panel, a 20-member independent panel of investment managers throughout the US.

George lives in Napa with his wife Maria and together they have three children, Patrick age 27, Colin age 23 and Brogan age 19. A musician himself, George served as the president of the Napa High School Band and Orchestra Boosters from 2009 - 2011. He enjoys jazz and classical music and works closely with the Napa High School band musicians. George has been a soccer coach for 10 years although he has hung his cleats up to spend more time with young musicians. George also enjoys scuba diving and cycling.
